Environmental Statesman Award

This is the Organization’s highest award and shall be presented to those ACWA members who have demonstrated outstanding service to the organization over a multi-year period.

Process

Nominees for this award are proposed by the Executive Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.

President’s Service Award

This Award shall be given annually to a member selected for their exceptional service to the Association over the last fiscal year.

Process

Nominees for this award are selected by the President, in consultation with the Executive Committee, identifies the appropriate candidate(s) for this Award. No more than two President’s Service Awards will be presented annually.

The Environmental Partnership Award

This award will be presented by ACWA to those persons who have, throughout their careers, demonstrated a true and consistent willingness to work cooperatively with the States and with the various interested organizations to effect environmental improvement.

Process:

Nominations for the award are proposed by the Executive Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. This award is given more infrequently than the others. The award is framed and presented to the individual at their last ACWA meeting or directly through their state office.
